Just checked out your portfolio, which is replete with outstanding work; it's a tribute to your versatility as an artist that you can switch from serious, dark 'Soulsborne' fan-art, to cute n' fluffy animé style pieces. I can do 'cute', but no matter how hard I try, I can't do 'serious', so you have my respect; I know it's not easy to balance the two, but you make it look easy.

No problem, and thank you! There are artists out there whose junk sketches look better than artwork I've spent many hours on, but that doesn't mean I'm not skilled; it's important to give yourself credit for what you have achieved. I think it's a common thing for skilled artists to be naturally humble, but there comes a moment in life where it's okay to say 'You know what, I am talented!'. The thing is, if one doesn't have respect for their own work, they can't expect others to. Amirite? 
eh, i dunno, most artists i know aren't toooo much into their own stuff and it rly doesn't influence other ppl's perception of your stuff as far as i can tell. I totally get what you're trying to say tho' and it's the "better" outlook on things , no questions asked lol
